Beulah M. Heroux, lifelong Inlet resident passed away Sunday May 17th, 2015 with her family at her side.
Beulah was born in Tupper Lake, NY on June 30th, 1937, the daughter of the late Adleor and Emma Laporte. On October 30th, 1954 Beulah married the love of her life the late Rene Heroux in St. Williams Church, Raquette Lake, NY.
She and her late husband ran Heroux Construction until his death in 2002. Through the years, she was a member of St. Anthony's Church, Inlet Fire Department Women's Auxiliary, Red Hat's, and an avid golfer.
Beulah is survived by her children, Roger and Daughter-in-law Maureen Heroux, Cooperstown, NY, Renee and Son-in-law Charles Eldridge, Boca Raton, FL, Michael and daughter-in-law Debra Heroux, Coudersport, PA, Dale and daughter-in-law Diane Heroux, Old Forge NY, and Paula and son-in-law David Ruff Raleigh, NC, thirteen grandchildren, and two great grandchildren. She leaves two brothers, Richard and Wayne Laporte and three sisters Dorothy Brigham, Shirley Delmarsh, Linda Helmer and predeceased by Brother Maynard Laporte. She leaves Brother and Sister In-laws Marie, Joyce, Margie, Archie, Tom and late Bill Brigham as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends of the family. -
