Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in Claude Church of Christ with Kent Wilson, minister, officiating. Burial will be in Claude Cemetery by Robertson Funeral Directors of Clarendon.
Mrs. Brunson was born May 23, 1918, in Clarendon to Martha Frances James Bagwell and Carl Rosco Bagwell. She married Warner Brunson on May 14, 1939, in Groom.
She was a member of the Le Temps Club and the American Ex-Prisoners of War Organization, where she served as secretary in 1984 and 1994. She had been a resident of Claude and Armstrong County most of her life. She was a homemaker and a member of Claude Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and a grandson, Billy George.
Survivors include her husband, Warner of Claude; a daughter, Marlene George and husband Phillip of Las Vegas; a sister, Melva Miller of Spokane, Wash.; a grandson, Phillip George II and wife Mychele of Amarillo; three great-grandchildren, Garrett George, Grace George and Gaige George, all of Amarillo; and many nieces and nephews.
The family suggests memorials be to Claude EMS, Claude Volunteer Fire Department or a favorite charity.
Viewing will be from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. today in Claude.
