Godfrey A. Turner, 58, brother of Mrs. Warren Gilmore, 922 Haskell avenue, and Mrs. E.H. Ralston, 626 North Court street, died at 11 p.m. Wednesday at his home in El Paso, Tex.
A former resident of Rockford, he was manager of the Turner Brothers Coal and Lumber company here for many years, a business now operated by the Home Lumber and Supply company. He had resided in El Paso since leaving Rockford in 1920.
Funeral services will take place in El Paso and burial will be in St. Louis, Mo.

Funeral services for Godfrey A. Turner, who died last week at his home in El Paso, Tex., will be held at 2 p. m. Friday at the home of his brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Warren Gilmore, 922 Haskell avenue. The Rev. Charles Boardman of the Fort Atkinson, Wis., Congregational church will officiate, and burial will be in Greenwood cemetery. The Rev. Mr. Boardman was a classmate of Mr. Turner at Beloit College.
