FRIEND, William James, Sr., "Bill," age 56, of Chesterfield, passed away Friday, August 21, 2015. He was preceded in death by his mother, Barbara Friend. He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Debby Friend; three sons, Billy, Jason (Casey) and Fred; three grandchildren, Greyson, Carter, Isabelle. He worked for Carpenter INC. for 18 years. The family will receive friends 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, August 26, at Bliley's-Chippenham, 6900 Hull Street Rd., and where a 2 p.m. funeral ceremony will be held on Thursday, August 27, followed by interment at Dale Memorial Park. Since Bill would feed everyone, in lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Richmond Food Bank.
