Funeral services for Mrs. Florine Catherine Freeland, age 81, of Bastrop, will be held 11 a.m. Friday, October 14, 2005 at the Chapel of Cox Funeral Home-Bastrop with the Rev. Bobby O'Fallon officiating.
Interment will be in the Stevenson Cemetery at Beekman under the direction of Cox Funeral Home-Bastrop.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home immediatly following the services on Friday.
Florine Catherine Freeland was born March 31, 1924 at Florance, Arkansas in Drew County to the late Henry and Ellie Mae Middlebrooks Hayes. Florine was a loving person who loved flowers and was an excellant cook.
Florine was preceded in death by her parents; Henry and Ellie Middlebrooks Hayes, husbands; Lonnie Tyson and Henderson Freeland, and an infant child.
Mrs. Freeland is survived by her two sisters; Bonnie Cingren and husband Paul of Bastrop, Margaret Wielinski and husband Joseph of Little Falls, Minnesota, a brother; James Hayes of Bastrop, four nieces; Karen Witt, Linda Rasinski, Sharon Freeland, Lois Freeland, Buddy Freeland, great-niece Laura Miller, great-nephew Paul Miller, numerous aunts and uncles, and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
