Death Notice in the Great Southern Herald (Katanning) of Sep. 26, 1914: Death of Mrs. E. R Beeck. —The numerous friends of the Beeck family will regret to learn that Mrs. E. R. Beeck passed away on the 23rd inst. Mrs. Beeck had been 22 years in this State, and was 78 years of age. She leaves a large family of 12 children 63 grand-children, and 20 great grand-children —a valued and highly respected element of the population of this district. The funeral took place at Katanning cemetary on Thursday afternoon The pall bearers were Messrs. R. L. Richardson, W. J. Rogers, R. Bahlinger, and J. F. Wanke. Rev. W. Gilmour conducted the funeral service, and the funeral arrangements were in charge of Mr. J. Squiers.
