Born Dec. 21, 1964, in St. Joseph, he lived his life in the St. Joseph area. He was a graduate of Benton High School, St. Joseph.
Mr. Cox was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene, St. Joseph.
On June 8, 1985, he married Ethel Robinson in St. Joseph. She survives of the home.
Additional survivors: a son, Andrew, of the home; his father and stepmother, Donald and Peggy, Green Forrest, Ark.; his mother and stepfather, Donna and Bill Browning, St. Joseph; and two brothers, Douglas and Donald R., both of St. Joseph.
