Velma, age 91, passed away at the Huron Nursing Home. She was on the family farm southwest of Wessington Springs, the daughter of William and Myrtle (Shaw) Horsten. she married Albert Klamm on August 16, 1942, in Nebraska. She married Henry Pearson on Marcy 3, 1977; he died in 1988.
She is survived by her daughters, Donna Cihak, Shirley Frazier, Ardis Wilde, and Carrie Poncelet, 12 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and her sister, Esther.
She was preceded in death by her parents, both husbands, her great-grandchildren, Madison Cihak, and Noah Wilde, and her siblings, William Horsten, George Horsten, an infant boy, Rena Meyer, Gertrude Meyer, Edna Haak, Lavina Horsten, Viola Horsten, and B. Lucille Horsten.
Burial was in Restlawn Memory Gardens Cemetery.
