Bobby Clowser, 81 of Corydon passed away Friday, August 21, 2015 at Corydon Nursing and Rehab.

Bobby was born to Gail & Lola(Foster)Clowser on January 21, 1934 in Chariton. On March 5, 1960, Bobby was united in marriage to Carolyn Langford in Chariton, Iowa. To this union were seven children: Gail, Torina, Teresa, Tina, Tammy, Tracy and Tisha.

Bobby worked a wide variety of jobs thru his life from the farm to working on vehicles. He had a passion for classic cars and old muscle cars. He would read automotive trade magazines for hours. He also enjoyed coon hunting. Bobby took both his children and grandchildren coon hunting with him. Bobby made breakfast for the kids while they were growing up and made great pancakes and the sweetest hot chocolate, he also had a knack for making fudge. Bobby enjoyed time spent with his family; and when you were near him, he may dabble a little in the political talk. Bobby was a husband, father, grandfather and a brother who will be missed dearly by his family.

Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Carolyn of Corydon, seven children: Gail Clowser(Jackie), Torina Willey(Brad), Teresa Glade, Tina Clark(Darrell), Tammy Jellison(Terry), Tracy Crosby(Jim), Tisha Pruiett(Cecil), 14 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and a sister Donna Clowser; all of Corydon. He was preceded by his parents, sister, Lois Lepley and a great granddaughter, Zoey Bailey.

Funeral service will be 10:30 am Tuesday, August 25, 2015 at Thomas-Randolph Funeral Home in Corydon. Interment will follow at Sharon Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-7 pm Monday, August 24, 2015 at Thomas-Randolph Funeral Home. Memorials may be given to the Promise City Church of Christ.
