On June 23, 1915 she married Floyd Eugene Niles in Otsego, NY.
Mrs. Floyd E. Niles, 80, of RD 1, Lee Center, died Friday in Rome Hospital after a long illness.
The former M. Ruth Nolting, she was born in Brooklyn Nov. 8, 1892, daughter of August and Louise Stanley Nolting.
She and Mr. Niles were married June 23, 1915, in Gilbertsville. He died Jan. 28, 1957.
Mrs. Niles attended the Lee Center United Methodist Church.
She is sed by two daughters, Mrs. Robert (Louise) Daley, Lee Center, with whom she resided and Mrs. William (Lois) McNeil, Warner Robins, Ga.; two sons, John B. Niles and A. Edward Niles, both of Rome; a sister. Mrs. E.R. Carlsson of Huntington, LI.; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Rome Daily Sentinel, Saturday Evening, April 28, 1973
