Obituary From Ottumwa Courier, April 13, 1929:
LOYD L. BLIZZARD.
Loyd L. Blizzard, 37 years old, died this morning at 5:30 o'clock at his home on Tacoma avenue in Riverview addition. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Nellie Blizzard, one daughter, Miss Madeline Blizzard of Riverview addition, parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Blizzard of Ottumwa, one brother, Ralph Blizzard, of Ottumwa; three sisters, Miss Ethel Blizzard of Ottumwa; Mrs. Edith Copeland, of Chillicothe, Mo., and Mrs. Gertrude Baker, of Stockdale, Tex.
The funeral services will be held Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the residence on Tacoma avenue, in charge of the Rev. Dr. A.A. Heath. Interment will be made in Shaul cemetery.
