Garner Felton McAfee, 80, of 3389 Sherry Drive died Thursday at his residence after an extended illness. Services will be held at 2 p.m.Saturday in the chapel of Hart's Mortuary. Burial will be in Macon Memorial Park. Paul Lester will officiate. Mr. McAfee, a Baptist, was a native of Johnson County and was educated there. He had lived in Macon most of his life. He retired from the Bibb Co. after 20 years. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Emily Mae McAfee of Macon; a daughter, Mrs. David (Garnell) Horwitz of Macon; two sons, Emory C. McAfee of Macon and Felton D. McAfee of Greenville S.C.; and five grandchildren. The family will be at the residence of Mrs. David Horwitz at 1726 Timark Drive.
