Emory Clayton McAfee, 53, died Wednesday in a local hospital. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday in Snow's Pio Nona Chapel. Burial will be in Macon Memorial Park. Earl Land will officiate. A native of Treutlen County, Mr. McAfee lived in Macon most of his life. He was a Navy veteran. He served with the Bibb County Sheriff's Department under the late Sheriff W.L. Robertson and the late Sheriff Jimmy E. Bloodworth. He commanded the first U.S. Federal Protective Service Unit in the Middle District of Georgia. He was a retired Deputy U.S. Marshall for the Middle District of Georgia. Survivors include his wife, Gloria H. McAfee of Macon; a son, Christopher C. McAfee of Macon; his mother, Emily C.
