Harry's father, Clifford Brown, wrote about Harry's death in his autobiography, "Harry was taken ill in Harrison and in a short time passed away. On invitation of Edna's father-in-law we took the little body where funeral services were held and where interment was made in the Columbus cemetery, west of the town. Harrison was not the same after Harry's passing so we did not much regret when we moved to Mission, a small place about five miles east of Livingston."
