MCLEAN - Ted Longino, 86, died Wednesday, Aug. 17, 2005.

Memorial services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday in the United Methodist Church with L.H. Webb officiating. Arrangements are by Bailey-Ware Funeral Home.

Mr. Longino was born June 1, 1919, in Bergen, Ky., to Hugh and Ella Longino.

He married Imogene Peabody on Dec. 27, 1946, in McLean. He was in the Army Air Corps during World War II. He graduated from the University of Texas with a degree in ceramic engineering. He retired in 1982 from Eagle-Picher Industries Inc., where he worked in their chemical division.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Hugh and Ella Longino; a brother, Ray Longino; a son, Clay Longino; and a grandchild, Joshua Longino.

Survivors include his wife; three sons, Joe Ted Longino and wife, Janice, of Rockwall, Bob R. Longino of Atlanta, Ga., and Jay Longino and wife, Deborah, of Amarillo; two brothers, Hugh Longino and wife, Shirley, of Crowell and
Harold Longino and wife, Opal, of Arvada, Colo.; a sister, Lenore McGuire of Carlsbad, N.M.; and seven grandchildren.

The family suggests memorials be to the United Methodist Church in McLean or a favorite charity.
