Johnny Fields, 60, passed away Monday, July 30, 2012 at the Charleston Area Medical Center in Charleston, West Virginia. He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Earl and Ollie Fields; sister, Mary Baldwin; and two infant brothers, Gaylon Ray Fields and Homer Carlos Fields. Surviving are two sons, William Bell of West, VA and Christopher Fields of Michigan; three daughters, Anna Fields of FL, Audrey Adams of KY, Marie Short of KY and Crystal Fields of California; ten grandchildren; four brothers, Charles Fields of Bristol, TN, Stephen “Pete” Fields of FL, Freddy Fields and Randall Fields both of Wise, VA; four sisters, Phylliss Sharrett and husband Wayne of Church Hill, TN, Mona Mullins of Pound, VA, Rose Mitchell and husband Willard of Wise, VA and Juanita Bowman of Norton, VA; several nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services for Johnny Fields will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, August 5, 2012 at the Sturgill Funeral Home Chapel in Wise, VA with Pastor Randy Carter officiating. Burial will follow in the Blankenbecler Cemetery. The Family will receive friends from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Saturday, August 4, 2012 at the Sturgill Funeral Home in Wise, VA.
