BARBARA JEANNE STRONG, 85, of Fort Wayne, went to be with her Lord on Thursday, April 9, 2015. She was born to the late Arthur and Orpha Van Anda on June 20, 1929 in Allen County. She was employed by Dr. Perry A. Brucker for 34 years, retiring in 2006. She is survived by her husband of 65 years, George Strong Jr.; son, Michael G. (Lorraine) Strong of Superior, CO.; daughter, Carol J. (Tom) Cashen, of Fort Wayne; granddaughters, Emily (Josh) Kestner, of Fort Wayne and Elizabeth (Pat) Grayson, of Aurora, CO.; grandson, Michael A. Cashen, of Arlington, VA. and a great grandson, Maxwell Grayson. She was preceded in death by her brothers; Georgec., Mac A. and Robert A. Van Anda. A memorial service will be held at Blackhawk Ministries on East State Blvd. on Thursday, April 16, 2015 with a gathering at 10 am and service at 11am. Pastor Steve Longbrake officiating.
