On August 18, 2015 his life long battle with diabetes ended as his peacefully went on to be with the his Lord and Savior at his home in Phoebus, Virginia. He lived with life to the fullest and blessed our lives with his love, kindness and infectious smile.

In 2006, Kelvin graduated from Phoebus High School and went on to attend college at Norfolk State University where he majored in Electronic Engineering. “Behold the Green and Gold”! He loved playing basketball with is cousins and closest friends and was a die-hard Redskins fan. He had no shame when it came to eating your food, staying at our homes for days, walking around with his boxers on or begging to get his head scratched or a body massage.

Kelvin loved to help others and was a public servant of Hampton City Parks and Recreation & School Age Programs since his teenage years. He was beloved by all staff and especially the children he worked with who referred to him as Mr. K. The love that he so freely gave came back to him 100 fold and that same love will continue to carry and bless his family. He had a great spirit and was an encouraging big brother, loving son, awesome nephew and always had jokes to tell whether it was towards his family or friends.
