Little Jesse Margaret lived sixteen long and painful days before returning to her Father. She was the firstborn child of Andrew Wade and Thelma Blount Keller. One can only imagine their deep sorrow and fear as they vainly cared for and watched over this tiny child, witnessing her continuing pain, her failure to thrive, and finally, her death. . . .

The diagnosed cause was given as "enteritis", at the time, a term frequently applied in situations of poorly differentiated gastrointestinal disorders or abnormality. Today, with far more knowledge, we enjoy more specific and much broader diagnostic criteria, and the development of effective treatments often leads to a much happier outcome . The sad truth is that little Jesse Margaret likely suffered greatly during her brief time with her loving family.

In addition to her grief-stricken parents, Jesse Margaret was mourned by her grandparents, John W. and Eva Blount and Samuel and Margaret Keller as well as her many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Rest quietly and well, dear little one, until His voice awakens you to His joyous and pain free eternal life.

"The Lord gave, and the Lord hath taken away. Blessed be the name of the Lord."--Job
