Russell married Flora Montana Foster on July 8, 1928, in Somerset County, MD, which was around 2 years before the 1930 US Census was taken on April 21; he is listed as the son-in-law of the head of the house, Flora's father James Foster. Twenty-two-year-old Russell's "Age at First Marriage" is listed as 20 & 20-year-old Flora's age is listed as 18.
According to a memo published in the "Marylander & Herald" (Princess Anne, MD) on Thursday, September 16, 1971, "Mr. and Mrs. Russell Dunn celebrated their sixth wedding anniversary…on Saturday night." That would put the marriage of Russell to Elsie Mae (Parks) Lusk at September 11, 1965, presumably taken place in Maryland.
He passed away from carcinoma of the lung, & was buried on January 8, 1982.
Russell & Flora Dunn's headstone was knocked over sometime between May 16 — June 8, 2022. As of February 2023, it has yet to be reset.
