He was born March 12, 1919 and was the son of John Edward Heath and Esta Lola Hampton Heath. He was retired from B & O Railroad as a track layer and also worked for Brian Lumber and AMF/Roadmaster. He was an Army Veteran and a member of the Sumner Free Methodist Church.
He was married Feb 18, 1946 to Mary Ruth Stevenson and she preceded him in death April 23, 1988. He married Betty O'Brien on June 7, 1990 and she perceded him in death Aug 1, 2002. Two sons, Russell and John and a daughter Susan are deceased.
Survivors include four sons Richard D Heath Jr., Tom Heath, Dave Heath, and James Heath, four daughters, Josephine Lynch, Edith Johnson, Martha Curtis, Mary Helm a sister Helen Stevens, Several grandchildren and great-grandchildren and two nieces.
