A private graveside service for Ray Royal, Jr., 77, of Marion, LA was held at 2:00pm Friday, August 21, 2015 at Liberty Cemetery near Linville. Arrangements were under the direction of Farrar Funeral Home in Farmerville.
Mr. Royal, retired from the LA State Park, went to his heavenly home August 20, 2015. He was a former pastor of Spencer Baptist Church and a current member of Liberty Baptist Church.He was preceded in death by his parents: Ray & Lily Royal; grandson: Rayford Chad Royal IV; and 3 sisters: Elnora Shirey, Evelyn Oliver and Eva Davis.Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 56 years, Virginia Royal of Marion; 4 sons: Rayford Royal III & wife, Judy of Noble, LA, Randy Royal & wife, Wanda of Farmerville, Ronnie Royal & wife, Shari of Marion, and Roger Royal & Wife, Wendy of Bella Vista, AR; 2 brothers: Robert Royal & Wife, Gwen of MO and Raymond Royal & wife, Sandy of West Monroe; 1 sister: Edna Yates & husband, Bobby of Bastrop; 6 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and many friends
