Connie Weigle Mann, of Winston-Salem died on February 19th due to a stroke. She is survived by her husband, Tom, of 45 years, her daughter, Mary Liz, of Washington D.C., her sister, Marta Weigle, of Santa Fe, N.M. and countless family and friends. She graduated from St. John's College in Santa Fe, NM. and attended Yale Divinity School, where she met Tom. She held a Master's degree from Rutgers University and worked as a sales representative for an organizational management company. She has loved the "Land of Enchantment" ever since college and has always cherished times at the beach with our beach buddies. She was known for her deep kindness and generosity, loving spirit, her warm smile, and her ability to relate to all people. She had a special concern for hunger, and served as a volunteer at the Second Harvest Food Bank of Northwest N.C, where she was a Volunteer of the Year in 2013. She is grievously missed and deeply loved. We are all extremely proud of her as a loving wife, mother, and friend. Tom and Mary Liz are enormously grateful for the support of numerous family, friends and church members. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 22nd at 1:00p.m. at Parkway United Church of Christ at 2151 Silas Creek Parkway in Winston-Salem. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Food Bank. May she forever be dancing.
