Grew up in West Clarksville, N.Y. and moved to Georgetown in 1939. Mr. Williams was employed by Bill Thomson Construction Co., when he first moved to Georgetown. He retired as Plant Manager of the Container Division of International Paper Company in 1982. During W. W. II, Mr. Williams participated in the development of containers used by the military during the War. He was a member of Winyah Lodge #40, Ancient Free Masons, The Pine Tree Club, and the Quarter Century Club.
Was predeceased by a son, Ronald H. Williams.
