Henry was a friend of Cornelius whom he named his son after, but he was not this Mary's father. This Mary was Cornelius second wife and Henry Yeakley Mabrey's stepmother.
The Cornelius that was married twice was Cornelius II. I believe the first wife was Mary Yeakley and the second was Mary "Polly" Chaney. He died in Logan County, Kentucky. The Cornelius here is Cornelius III born in North Carolina in 1785. I believe Cornelius III's wife's name was Mary Ann "Polly" Jarrell. The only misgiving with that is the tombstone says she was born in North Carolina. Cornelius III was born in North Carolina.
