MIDDLETOWN — Bonnie Lee Richardson Matthews, 82, resident of Middletown, passed away Aug. 18, 2015, at Henry County Memorial Hospital in New Castle.

She was born Aug. 12, 1933, in Monticello, Ky., the daughter of Raymond and Lela Morrow Richardson.

She attended Wayne County High School and retired after 29 1/2 years in production at Delco Remy General Motors.

She had lived most of her life in this area.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Finley Jr.; and one son, Finley Raymond.

Survivors are three children, Roger Matthews, David Matthews (Janie) and Karen T. Drumm (Tim Owens), all of Middletown; six grandchildren; four stepgrandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; six stepgreat-grandchildren; three sisters, Betty Jo Alexander (Ed) of Fortville, Ruth Buck (Cletus) of Acton and Jean Hammond of Amhurst, Ohio; a brother, Gary Richardson of Texas; and several nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of her life will take place at 2 p.m. Saturday at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 118 S. Fifth St., Middletown, with the Rev. Jeff Johnson of Cadiz Christian Church officiating. Burial will follow in South Mound Cemetery in New Castle.

Friends may call on Saturday at the funeral home after 11 a.m.
