Irene H. Light, 88, of 1590 Route 25, died Saturday at home. She was born at Woodside Station, Millersburg, the daughter of the late Clarence and Sara Klinger Heinbaugh. She studied music at Syracuse University, Washington University, and in Europe. She was a piano and organ teacher for 65 years. She and her late husband owned Light's Piano in Millersburg. She attended Word of Life Chapel in Halifax. She was preceded in death by her husband, George Light and a son, Lynn Light. She is survived by cousins. Services will be held on Tuesday at 11 a.m., with Rev. Robert Baer officiating, at Hoover Funeral Homes, Inc., Millersburg. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery, Millersburg. Viewing will be from 10-11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Word of Life Chapel, 27 Fellowship Drive, Halifax, PA 17032.
