Charlen Sturgis
Age 94, of Parkland, Puyallup, and Spanaway communities, passed away on August 12, 2015 at 12:50 am. She was the daughter of Harry and Flora Behmer, who owned Parkland Florist and were founding ,e,bers of the Parkland Southside Adventist Church. Charlan owned the Three Monkey's Restaurant in Spanaway in her later years. However, she was a world famous fan dancer, stage name "Charlen Castle," who traveled the world with her pet monkey Paris, Charlen is survived by her loving daughter Clairine Sturgis, granddaughter Maria Al Zahrani, and grandson Alexander Chan.
