MICHAEL ZIMMER
St. Joseph-- Michael Zlmmer, life long resident of St. Joseph, died at the St., Cloud hospital Sunday at 9:15 pm. where he had been a patient for the. past three and one-half years.
He was born August 15, 1868 In St. Joseph and lived there his entire life. In September, 1899, he was married to Mary Himsl who preceded him in death in September, 1946. Mr. Zimmer, member of the St. Joseph's Men's society, served for 18 years on the town board and on the school board for 20 years.
He leaves the following chUdren: Sister Ruth Marie, OSB, (Susan) Browerville; Leo, St. Joseph; Roman, St. Cloud; Michael Jr., St. Joseph; Mrs. Lawrence Loehlein (Mary), Duelm; Mrs. Peter Kosel (Agnes), St. Joseph; Math, Cold Spring; Alfred, St. Joseph; Mrs. Christ Hilsgen (Lenora), St. Joseph; Edward, St. Paul and Mrs. Delphin Terwey (Ruth), Cold Spring. Thirty grandchildren also survive and he leaves one sister, Sister Sophia, OSB, Freeport.
The body is at the farm home where friends may call until the time of the funeral Wednesday at 9:30 am. at St. Joseph's Catholic church in St. Joseph. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
