Paul Stierwalt
Paul David Stierwalt, 44, of Paragon, died at 7:45 P.M. May 7, 2001, at his residence.
Born Jan. 1, 1957, in Bloomington, he was the son of James Stierwalt and Thelma (Herrington) Dyer, who survive.
Stierwalt was owner of Stierwalt Construction and Septic Installation.
He was a member of Samaria Baptist Church and Masonic Lodge 44 F&AM.
His hobbies were playing his guitar, hunting, fishing and being with his family and friends.
Other survivors include a stepmother, Gloria (Sykes) Stierwalt; a stepfather, William Dyer; a son, Shane Stierwalt of Paragon; two brothers, Ronald and Daryl Stierwalt, both of Paragon; and six sisters, Darla Brewer of Cloverdale, Diane Yeadon and Donna Baker, both of Martinsville, Debbie Fleener of Paragon, Dedee Fortner of Amo and Karen Smith of Mooresville.
The service will be 11 A.M. Thursday at Costin Funeral Chapel in Martinsville. The Rev. Tom Willett will officiate, Burial will be in Friendship Park Cemetery at Paragon.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 o'clock today at the funeral chapel.
The Masonic Lodge 440 F&AM will conduct a memorial service at 7 o'clock during visitation.
