Danny Leo “Sandy” Spencer, age 64, of West Helena, Arkansas passed away Wednesday, August 19, 2015 at his home. He was born April 9, 1951 at Helena to Delbert Spencer and Kathleen Pankey Spencer. He was a member of West Helena Baptist Church and a retired senior lineman for Entergy.

He is survived by his wife Carol Boals Spencer, daughter Stephanie Bowlan of Carlisle, his mother Kathleen Spencer and brother John Spencer, both of Oneida, and a grandson, nephew, and two nieces. He was preceded in death by his father and his sister Barbara Wisdom.

Service at West Helena Baptist Church and burial at Turner Cemetery, Bro. Steve Williams officiating. Pallbearers Tommy Young and employees of Entergy's Helena office, James Warren, Adam Bearden, Courtney Bradshaw, Keith Ewing, Brock Garrison, Jerry D. Miller, Ben Owens, Cynthia Redmond, David Schwantz, Tyrone Stayton, Rob Vondran, Brad White and Josh Williams. Honorary pallbearers Jake Lake Hunting Club members Ned Young, Clay Young, Danny Young, and Will Young.
