Mary Chriscoe Caviness, 77, of George P. Rd., Robbins, died Monday, August 17, 2015 at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst.

Funeral Services, 11 am, Wednesday, August 19, 2015, at Beulah Baptist Church, Bennett.

Officiating, Dr. Curtis Barbery.

Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Mary was a native of Chatham County, was formerly a seeemstress with a garment manufacturer, and a member of Beulah Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by parents, Issac and Mae Davis Chriscoe, brothers, Garland Chriscoe, Carol Chriscoe, and sister, Myrtle Callicutt.

Survivors: husband, Theron Caviness, of the home, daughter, Tonia Davis, of Lexington, sons, Jeff Potts, of Seagrove, Sam Potts, of Atlantic Beach, FL, sisters, Carrie Greene, of Asheboro, Shirley Spencer, Dorothy Chriscoe, Allene Parks, all of Seagrove, brother, Jerry Chriscoe, of Seagrove, step-daughter, Evon Caviness, of Robbins, step-son, Elton T. Caviness, of Asheboro, eight grandchildren, three step-grandchildren, several great grandchildren.

Visitation, 6 pm to 8 pm, Tuesday, Loflin Funeral Home, Ramseur and other times at the residence.
