TWILA FAYE JONES

WINAMAC — Graveside services for former Winamac resident Twila Faye Jones, 48, will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday in McKinley Memorial Gardens, Winamac. She died at 7 p.m. Thursday in Desert Samartion Hospital in Mesa.

Born Sept. 29, 1941, in Logansport, she was the daughter of Alfred R. and Elsie Sarah Sparks Moon. On June 29, 1988, in Sun City West, Ariz., she was married to Steve Jones, who survives.

She was a graduate of Star City High School and Ivy Tech Nursing School. She was a hospital nurse. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Chandler, Ariz., and Bible Baptist Church, Winamac.

Also surviving are her father, Alfred R. Moon, Winamac; three daughters, Marcy Raney, Phoenix, Lisa Lewis and Crystal Cole, both of Mesa; one son, Jeff Lowry, Apache Junction, Ariz.; one stepdaughter, Tammy Jones, Midland, Texas; five sisters, Mabel Holman, Winamac, Bernice Thimlar, Royal Center, Delight Kandl, Hillside, Ill., Barbara Kiser, Kokomo, and Norma Lee Krone, Cleveland, Ohio; one brother, Philip Moon, Indianapolis, and four grandchildren.

The Rev. Kenneth Broad will officiate at the services. Friends may call from 3 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday in Frain Mortuary, Winamac.
