Monica Ruiz, 27, passed away on August 18, 2015, in Midland, Texas. She was born in McAllen, Texas, on October 14, 1987. Monica graduated from Robert E. Lee High School of Midland in May 2006. She earned her Phlebotomy Certificate at Midland College. Monica was primarily employed as a server /bartender for her adult work life. She always had a smile to share, a word of encouragement, and a motivating attitude for all those she met. Recently, Monica became very involved in fitness and MMA training and she encouraged friends and family members to embrace a healthy lifestyle. Her bright smile and beautiful spirit will be sorely missed.
Family: sons, Johnathan Lopez and Jesse Lopez; mother, Ester Deninger; brother, David Andrew Deninger; sister, Yvonne Ruiz Alvarado, along with her brother-in-law, Luis Alvarado, and their children, Addison De La Fuente and Jacob Alvarado; live-in companion, Victor Hernandez.
She was preceded in death by her father, David R. Deninger.

Viewing will be held on Monday, August 24, 2015 beginning at 9:00 a.m. The funeral service will be held that same day at 7:00 p.m. at American Heritage Chapel.
