GOD BLESS US ALL!Jack Lavor Bybee, age 82, of Pocatello, Idaho, passed away following an illness on Wednesday, August 19th at Portneuf Medical Center. He was born on September 28, 1932 in Downey, Idaho to Guy J and Lareta (Bennett) Bybee. He was the 7th of 8 children. Jack grew up and received his education in Downey. Jack misrepresented his age in order to work for the Union Pacific Railroad. He left the railroad to join the Navy in 1953. After being honorably discharged from the military, Jack went back to the railroad and worked until retirement in 1994.Jack married Marilyn Tuck on March 6, 1963. Together they had six children; Jeffery, Jennifer, Janneece, Jesse, Wesley and Tami. They were later divorced. Jack enjoyed playing his guitar and singing. He entertained at every family function. He loved hunting and fishing with his kids. Jack was preceded in death by his parents, six siblings, and his oldest son Jeffery. He is survived by Marilyn and their children, Jennifer Holden of Boise, Janneece (Steve) Sailors of Kimberly, Jesse (Kristina) Bybee of Pocatello, Wesley (Sami Jo) Bybee of Pocatello and Tami (Doug) Slane of Filer, Idaho; as well as twelve grandchildren and three great grandchildren and brother Rex Bybee. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.Memorial services will be held Sunday, August 23rd at 1:00 PM at Downard Funeral Home, 241 North Garfield Ave., Pocatello, Idaho.
