Our beloved Lord looked down on Sunday, Aug. 16, 2015, took Keith's hand and lifted him from pain and confusion to a joyful heavenly reunion with his family above: his parents, Henry and Olga Box; his only sister, Geneva and her husband, Rev. Oland Butler; his brothers, Cecil Box and his wife, Helen, Owen Box and his wife, Velma and Wayne Box; a grandson Bradley Lynn Breazeale; and his in-laws, Leslie and Elizabeth Goodenough.

Keith was born Monday, March 20, 1933, in White City, a small community outside of Vernon, Texas. His young years were spent in Hobart and Duncan, Oklahoma, Freeport and Kingsville, Texas.
Keith met his wife, Mary Alice in Kingsville in 1949 and they married Aug. 4, 1951, in Reynosa, Mexico.

Keith enjoyed playing all sports at King High. He played football, basketball, ran track and played American Legion baseball. Keith in retirement played golf with a group of friends, sons-in-law and his brothers playing courses in Texas and many other states. Keith had two hole in one shots over the years.

Keith had a football scholarship to Del Mar Junior College in Corpus Christi. He went to work for J.C. Penney part-time which led to his lifelong career of 41 ? years with Penney's. This career took his family from Corpus Christi to Alice to Dallas and then onto Lubbock, San Antonio, Lamesa and to the downtown store in San Angelo in 1969, and onto the Sunset Mall in 1979 and retiring in 1993.

Keith served on many boards in the community during his working years. He was a member of First Baptist Church since 1977. He was ordained a deacon in 1972, at Park Heights Baptist Church. He served on several committees and was a member of the Homebound Ministry. His service clubs were the Rotary Club in Lamesa and the Downtown Kiwanis Club in San Angelo. He especially enjoyed every spring helping with Little Olympics and San Angelo Relays which he did for 43 years. He served as football Booster Club president in Lamesa and as Booster Club president for Central High School. Keith was a Master Mason in the Grand Lodge of Texas, George B. Dealy, No. 1312, Dallas, Texas for over 57 years.

Keith is survived by his wife of 64 years, Mary Alice Box; daughter Kathy and her husband, Steve Breazeale; daughter Lisa and her husband, Monti Eady; granddaughter Renee Breazeale Myers and her husband, David; granddaughter Ashley Eady Paloutzian and her husband, Kyle; great-grandchildren Mila and Corbin Myers and Braden and Ashlyn Paloutzian; brothers Boyd Box and Gordon Box; many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends.
