He was born on April 28, 1943 in Canandaigua, New York to William Harkness and Dorothy Esther (Rogers) McKee. He retired as a QA Inspector at American Airlines, Tulsa, OK. He served his country in the U. S. Air Force during Vietnam era. He was of the Baptist faith. He also liked to golf, do gardening and liked tractors. He is survived by his wife, Gloria Von Harlin; children, Dennis McKee and wife, Theresa of Sapulpa, Douglas McKee and wife, Tricia of Broken Arrow and Kimberly Walker and husband, Marlin of Houston, TX; 6 grandchildren, Brandon, Kenneth, Christopher, Dustin, Denton and Brianna; sisters, Dorothy Ann McKee and Sarah (Sally) McKee both of Tulsa. He is preceded in death by his parents, William Harkness and Dorothy Esther (Rogers) McKee. Family Visitation has been set from 6-8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 25, 2014 at Smith Funeral Chapel, 1208 S. Main St., Sapulpa, OK. Memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, February 26, 2014 at Smith Funeral Chapel, 1208 S. Main St., Sapulpa, OK. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Smith Funeral Home, 1208 S. Main St., Sapulpa, OK.
