Monica “Monk” Spradley Wheeler, 37, of Jesup, Georgia died Tuesday, August 18, 2015 in St. Joseph’s Hospital in Savannah after an apparent heart attack. The Wayne County, Georgia native was employed with McDaniel Vending Company and enjoyed spending time with her family. She was predeceased by her grandparents, Allen and Zona Mae Spradley, Roland Jones and Ruthie Crews Manning; sister, Kristen “Prissy” Aldridge.
Survivors are her husband, Jeff Wheeler of Jesup; daughters, Katrina Corry and Krista Corry both of Jesup; granddaughter, Raylee Henry of Jesup; parents, Reynold A. Spradley of Jesup and Dorothy Jones Weathers of Glennville; sister, Angela Outlaw of Jesup; brother, Allen “Buddy” (Lisa) Spradley of Jesup; brothers-in-law, Danny Wheeler of Jesup and Kyle Wheeler of Peabody, Massachusetts; sister-in-law, Deb Hepler of Savona, New York; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, August 21, 2015 at Rinehart and Sons Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Don Manning officiating. Interment will be in the Manningtown Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be family. Honorary pallbearers will be fellow co-workers of McDaniel Vending Company.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00, Thursday, August 20, 2015, at the Rinehart and Sons Funeral Home.
