Melva Louise Bosarge Lyons, a homemaker, died Saturday at an area hospital. She was 61.

She was a native of Mississippi and a resident of Mobile.

Survivors include her husband, Donnie Kitrell; and one son, Vincent A. Lyons, both of Mobile; and five daughters, Veronica Griswald of Kiln, Miss., Lisa Lyons and Jada Gray, both of Mobile, Shelia Lyons of Gulfport and Michelle Young of Atlanta.

A graveside service is set for 11 a.m. Saturday in Rotten Bayou Cemetery in Kiln. Arrangements are by Gilmer's Funeral Home on Zeigler Circle West.
