Alfred Buck, son of the late Rudolph and Mary Buck, died at his home in Kerr Addition late Friday evening, September 26 after illness of several years. He was 87 years, six months and nine days old at the time.
Surviving are his widow Sarah (Doney) Buck and the following children: Mrs. Pearl Young of Woodland; Mrs. Myrtle Young of Williamsburg; Mrs Bertha Lansberry of Shawville; Matthew Buck at home; Elmer and Harvey of Shawville; Curtin of Woodland and Mrs. Oswalt D. (Ruth) Maines of Kerr Addition. There are 45 grand-children, 42 great-grandchildren and the following brothers: Harry and Burnley Buck of Kerr Addition.
Short funeral services were held at the residence and in the Bradford church with Rev. J.C. Rupp officiating. Interment was made in the Bradford Cemetery.
