Sioux Falls–Antoinette "Tonni"Evans,83,died March13,2014 at Dougherty Hospice House in Sioux Falls, SD. A prayer service will begin at 2:00PM on Sunday, March16, 2014at George Boom Funeral Home in Sioux Falls.

Tonni was born on November14,1930 in Heemstede, the Netherlands, the daughter of Gerrit and Francina (Goossens) Bontje. At the age of 21,she immigrated to the United States with her family to Larchwood, Iowa. She worked at a variety of jobs including Nixon Fabrics. Tonni mar ried Larry Evans on April 25,1979.She had a heart of gold, taking care of her father, mother, and Uncle Bill at the end of their lives.

Tonni is survived by her sister; many nieces and nephews; three step grandchildren; and many wonderful friends. She was preceded in death by her husband; step daughter; parents; sister; brothers, and nephew.
