Edward E Watskey, age 89, of Sunrise Beach, Missouri, passed away at the Laurie Care Center in Laurie, Missouri, on October 3, 2008.
He was born January 8, 1919, in Novinger, Missouri. He was employed by the Santa Fe Railroad for forty-two years, retiring in 1979. He was preceded in death by his wife of sixty-three years, Mary Martha (Polhans) in 2005 [married September 7, 1942].
Survivors include son Ted Watskey and wife Jean of Kansas City, Kansas; a sister, Peggy Freeman of Wardsville, Missouri; three grandchildren, Mary Barnhart, Jeff Watskey and Chad Watskey, all of Kansas City, Kansas; seven great grandchildren and nieces and nephews, and his many great neighbors and friends.
