Proud and loving father of Kathleen M. (Bob) Sicuro, Patricia (Lou) Payne, both of North Huntingdon, William (Magg) Roland, Jr. of North Braddock, Marlene (Russ) Roland of Forest Hills, James (Liz) Roland of Adamsburg and late infants, Arlene and John.
Brother of Margaret Chernick of FL, Winifred O’Malley of TN and the late James Roland.
Also survived by 11 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
Bill was a WW II and Korean War Navy veteran. He was a retired police officer and Chief of Police from North Braddock Borough with 28 years of service. Bill was a life member of the North Braddock Amvets, Post #60, the former American Legion in East Pittsburgh and also the North Braddock Fire Department. Bill enjoyed cooking, and also enjoyed working security for various venues in Pittsburgh, including Forbes Field and the East Pittsburgh American Legion Bingo.
