Funeral services for Mrs. Dean Beck, 20, of Bellevue, Iowa, will be held Wednesday, September 22 at 10:00 A.M. in the Christian Church, Glasco, with Pastors Dean Donner and Wendell Berggren officiating.
Lori Beth Beck, the third daughter of Frank A. and F. Leola Williams, was born January 29, 1956 at Iola, KS. She died Saturday, September 18, 1976, in the University Hospital, Iowa City, IA, where she had been a patient since August 27, receiving treatment for leukemia. Lori Beth attended school in Valley Falls, KS. from 1962 to 1968 and was a 1974 graduate of Glasco High School. She attended Kansas State University one year. Lori Beth and Robert Dean Beck were united in marriage May 24, 1975, in the Christian Church, Glasco. They had made their home in Bellevue, IA, since November 1975. Lori was employed at the Babka Publishing Co., in Dubuque, IA.
Surviving relatives are her husband, Dean Beck, Bellevue, IA; her parents, Frank and Leola Williams, Glasco; two sisters and brothers in law, Marcia and Scott Seaton, Benton, KS., Pamela and Larry Lutes, Emporia; one brother, Richard Williams, Glasco; her maternal grandmother, Mrs. Flora Gull, Noosho Falls, KS., and paternal grandmother, Mrs. Susie Davis, Emporia, KS.; one niece, Leslie Seaton, Benton, KS.; two nephews, Jeffrey Lutes, Emporia KS., and Andrew Seaton, Benton, KA.; aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of friends.
Interment will be in the Glasco Cemetery. Dean Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Memorials may be made to the Cancer Fund.
