On Feb. 13 our beautiful mother, Dorothy Lee Craw, was reunited with the love of her life, Charles Leland Craw, just in time for Valentine's Day.
Dorothy was born Feb. 12, 1938, in Oakland, Calif. She grew up in Caliente, Nev., and Milford, Utah, where she met Charles 'Buck' Craw. Upon her graduation from high school, they were married June 1, 1956, and later had their love sealed for time & all eternity in the St. George Temple.
Dorothy had a great sense of humor and a zest for life that was contagious to all that knew her. She loved her family and set a perfect example to her children of how to treat people.
She is survived by one brother, W.T. (Kathy) Acklin of Milford, Utah; one sister, Linda Acklin of Vista, Calif.; five children: Jeff (Pam) Craw of Richmond, Utah, Gaye (Stacy) Higley of Gilbert, Ariz., Tami (Blake) Seamons, of Smithfield, Utah, Kimberly (Wade) Lister, of Minersville, Utah, & Heather (Darren) Peacock of Taylorsville, Utah; 13 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren.
She is proceeded in death by her mother, Lisa Bolton Acklin; her father, Thomas Edwin Acklin; her husband, Charles Leland Craw; her granddaughter, Randee Sue Craw; and her grandson, Chandler James Durney.
A viewing will be from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 21, at the church located at 150 S. 100 East in Richmond. A viewing will be held prior to services from 10 to 11:30 a.m. at the same location on Saturday, Feb. 22. Funeral services will follow at noon. Burial will be next to "Buck" at the Richmond City Cemetery.
