LANCASTER - Rev. Thomas Marvin Adams 54, of 2503 Douglas Rd. died Aug. 14, 1996, at his home.

Funeral is 3 p.m. Friday at Crestview Baptist Church with the Rev. Michael Lewis and the Rev. Mendel Baker officiating. Burial will be in Abney Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation is 7-9 p.m. Thursday at Cauthen Funeral Home, Lancaster Chapel.

Rev. Adams was born Dec. 31, 1941 in Lancaster. He was the son Thomas Olin and Alice Ruth Hinson Adams. Rev. Adams was a former pastor of Buford Baptist Church, McBee, and was a supply pastor for area churches. A welder for Morrison Textiles Machinery Company, Rev. Adams was a member of the Crestview Baptist Church.

Survivors include his two sons, Mr. Tommy Adams and Mr. Marty Adams, both of Lancaster; a daughter, Miss April Adams of Lancaster; his parents, Thomas O. and Ruth H. Adams of Lancaster; a sister, Mrs. David (Sandra) Yost of Waxhaw, NC; and one grandchild.
