MANCHESTER Vicki A. Smith, 59, died at 2:56 a.m. Thursday, August 13, 2015 at York Hospital. She was the wife of Denly L. Wise. Born January 31, 1956 in York, a daughter of the late Robert Smith and the late Modest (King) Aldinger, she worked for Dentsply International. In addition to her husband, Mrs. Smith is survived by two daughters, Celina A. Grau and her husband, George of Lancaster, and Andrea L. Hackenberger and her husband, Sam of Manchester; five grandchildren, Cody Smith, Georgie Grau, Dylan Grau, Logan Grau, and Brady Grau; a sister, Kathy A. Peterman of York; four brothers, Steve Smith Sr., Mark Smith, Todd Smith, and Eric Smith; two step brothers, Russell Aldinger and Michael Aldinger; and three step sisters, Cynthia Aldinger, Desiree Evans, and Renee Dancy. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Robert Shirey; her stepfather, Russell Aldinger; and stepsister, Inga Irvine. A celebration of her life will be held 2 p.m. Sunday, August 23, 2015, at her sister Kathy's home. Workinger Semmel Funeral Homes and Cremation, Inc., 849 E. Market St., is in charge of arrangements.
