Christina Ann Harter, 17, of Rogersville, passed away at 2 am on Sunday, August 16, 2015. Our beautiful baby girl will always be remembered for her infectious smile. She worked hard at everything she did, from running, working at McDonald's, FFA Officer, FFA competitions, NHS volunteer hours to yard work at home. She loved her dogs, her cats, her chickens, drawing and painting. She had a passion for nature, mountains, camping with family and was planning to pursue a degree in environmental studies.

Christina was a senior at Logan-Rogersville High School. She was a member of FFA, Cross Country, Track and Field, Band and National Honor Society. She attended the FFA Leadership Conference in Washington, D.C.

She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Gordon Harter.

She is survived by her parents, Randy and Amy Harter; sister, Rachel Harter; grandparents, Milton & Judy Folkins and Pauline Harter-Parish; aunts and uncles, Kim & Andy Morrow, Nell & Fred Rapp, and Lew & Kelly Harter; cousins, Sam Morrow and April & Lee Harter; her favorite dog Buddy and cat Frisco.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, August 22, at 10 am at Schweitzer UMC. A visitation will be held at the church from 9 am until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Logan-Rogersville FFA.
