Carolyn Summers Miller, 78, of Lancaster, passed away on Aug. 15, 2015 after a brief illness. Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Esther and Louis Benner, and was the wife of Jack Summers who died in 1991 and Glenn Miller who died in 2011. She is survived by: daughter, Julie wife of B. Michael Fisher, Strasburg; granddaughter, Laurie wife of Matt Irwin, Strasburg; step-daughter, Mary Hayden, Columbia; step-son, Larry Miller, Lancaster; sisters, Jane Young, Manheim, Ruth Work, Gordonville, Linda Alday, Columbia. She was preceded in death by her grandson, Justin Fisher and sisters, Norma Cartes and Ethel Miller. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 19, 2015 at Furman Home for Funerals, 59 W. Main St., Leola. Viewing: 10 a.m. - 11 a.m. Interment: Millersville Mennonite Cemetery.
