Ord, Neb., Feb. 11. (Special)- Funeral services were held yesterday afternoon at the Sowl chapel for Mrs. W. J. Hather, aged wife of William J. Hather, pioneer citizen and prominent resident of this district for many years. Mrs. Hather passed away Friday after a brief illness.
Left to mourn are her husband, two daughters, Mrs. Glen Carson and Mrs. Guy Strong, two sons, Charles and Wendell, a number of grandchildren, as well as her mother, Mrs. Alice Vincent. All of the survivors named live in this district. Mrs. Hather was always cheerful, worked hard, filled a definite need in the acquaintance of all who know her. She will be sadly missed in this community.
